This Classic Moremi Safari in the Xakanaxa area takes in some of the most dramatic scenery in Africa with a wildlife experience second to none. This is where the sands of the Kalahari Desert meet the waters of the Okavango and in so doing provide an area of incredible beauty and diversity.

Day 1: Johannesburg – Maun – Moremi
Upon arrival in Maun from Johannesburg you will be transferred by light aircraft over the Okavango Delta to your camp in the Xakanaxa area where you will be spending the next 2 nights exploring the waterways, floodplains and lagoons of this incredible area.
Once you have settled in and refreshed you can prepare for the afternoon excursion. Following high tea you will set off with your safari guide on a sunset activity in the Delta. When you return, enjoy dinner with the sounds of the wilderness in the background.
Day 2: Moremi
An early morning wake-up call will herald a day of new discoveries and sightings. Renowned for its wildlife, and in particular predators, Xakanaxa will leave you awed. Your guide will share his passion and experience of the area to further enhance your safari. After a truly memorable morning activity you will return to the bush camp for brunch and there will be time to relax during the heat of the day.
Afternoon tea will be served after which you will head out on your afternoon activity to explore more of the area and to try and find the animals that you have not yet seen. After dinner and drinks around the campfire under the stars there will be time to reflect on an amazing African safari experience.
Day 3: Moremi – Maun – Johannesburg
This is the final day of your Classic Moremi Safari. There will be time for a morning activity and brunch before you say your goodbyes.
You will be transferred to the airstrip for the flight back to Maun and your onward flight to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport.

This 3 day Fly-in Classic Moremi package is calculated for 2 guests sharing en-suite accommodation, all inclusive of meals, activities and scheduled flights ex/to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport.
The Rates are based on the high season and may vary depending on the season and daily currency exchange rate. This Botswana package can be also combined with a stay at Chobe National Park or another bush camp/lodge in the Okavango Delta.
