Days 1 & 2: Camp Moremi, Botswana

Upon your arrival in Maun, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled charter flight to Camp Moremi. Enjoy this awesome bird’s eye view of the Okavango Delta, taking very special memories and moments of your Southern Africa safari with you that will stay with you forever.

Camp Moremi accommodates only 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

His and hers towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each tent has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent. Your stay at Camp Moremi is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities, park entrance fees and laundry service.

Botswana safari activities include tracking big game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird-watching, exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat.

Days 3 & 4: Chobe Savanna Lodge, Namibia

After an early breakfast you will depart from Camp Moremi on a charter flight Kasane Airport. Upon your arrival in Kasane, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled boat transfer to Chobe Savanna Lodge. Chobe Savanna Lodge is relaxed and informal, set in a classic African Savanna environment with sweeping vistas surrounding the lodge.

The focal point of the lodge is a thatched open sided main building which commands a 270 degree view over the Chobe River and beyond to the Chobe National Park. Located in the main building is the lounge, dining room and bar areas furnished with African inspired furniture in dark teak woods, perfectly in tune with the environment. The lodge accommodates just 24 guests in stylish thatched chalets, all with private decks, a combined bedroom / lounge area and en-suite bathrooms.

All rooms are furnished in subtle earth tones and dark woods in a contemporary African theme, are air-conditioned and have complimentary mini bars. Facilities include a swimming pool, a gazebo that is ideal for small group lunches and an open boma area (place of eating), on the banks of the Chobe River, where guests are treated to panoramic views and traditional dancing performed by local villagers.

The charm of Chobe Savanna Lodge, with its sweeping views and wide vistas, lies in its beauty, peace and tranquility, far from the “madding crowds” of large cruise boats and game drive vehicles - the emphasis is on complete relaxation and solace. Unlike other properties, where regimented game activities are prioritized, we offer guests the choice of just taking “time out” or joining in on one of the many activities offered at the lodge.

Those who wish to explore the Chobe River will not be disappointed. All activities are conducted by resident professional guides, whose intimate knowledge will make for an unforgettable experience. Guests have a choice of boat excursions in small maneuverable boats, ideal for close up encounters with wildlife along the rivers edge or cultural village visits. Depending on the time of year, guests are also offered the opportunity to take canoe excursions along the river.

Nature walks and guided canoeing along the river as well as a cultural excursion to one of the surrounding local communities. Here guests can observe the deep-rooted traditional life styles of the people.

Days 5 & 6: Chobe Game Lodge, Botswana

The only permanent game lodge situated within the Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge is Botswana's premier venue for guests looking for a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park. The lodge can accommodate up to 100 people in total luxury, offering a choice of land or water activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe area.

Game drives are conducted in open sided 4X4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility, while game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly maneuverable boats piloted by expert boatmen. Our resident professional guides offer star gazing and guided walks within the game-fenced area.

Other facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma area where traditional dancers perform, a business centre, a fully equipped conference room with seating for up to 90 people in cinema style, a internet office is available for those guests needing to keep in touch, a stylish bar with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River and a cigar bar with a champion sized billiard table.

Chobe also has a reference library with lounge and terrace. Meals are catered for at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River. All the rooms at the lodge are river facing and are air conditioned with overhead fans, complimentary mini bar and en-suite bathrooms, each with tea and coffee making facilities.

All rooms have their very own private terrace. For those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Chobe Game Lodge has four river view suites, each with their own plunge pool and a separate lounge area.

Your stay at Chobe Game Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, and local brand beverages during meal times, unlimited activities, park entrance fees and laundry service. Game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, game viewing by motorboat or sunset cruises on our river cruiser the Mosi-oa-Tunya on the Chobe River. Stargazing and guided walks within the game-fenced are also on offer.

Day 7: Depart

After breakfast, you will be transferred via road from Chobe Game Lodge to Kasane Airport.

Please Note:

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
