    Experience complete luxury, romance and tranquility in the bush during your 9 day Romantic Journey of Reflection Safari. Relax, reflect and rejuvenate your senses whilst experiencing the beauty and majesty of this spectacular country.

    Accommodation is in rustic East African-style safari tents at Camp Moremi, romantic safari tents at Camp Okavango, Colonial themed rooms and suites at Chobe Game Lodge and hotel rooms at The Kingdom Hotel.

    Activities include game drives, excellent bird watching, exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon, excursions by motorboat, guided nature walks, fishing for Bream and Tiger fish, star gazing and romantic sunset cruises.


    Days 1 & 2: Camp Moremi, Botswana

    Upon your arrival in Maun, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled charter flight to Camp Moremi.

    Enjoy this awesome bird's eye view of the Okavango Delta, taking very special memories and moments of Africa with you that will stay with you forever.

    Camp Moremi accommodates only 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs.

    Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway. His and hers towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    Each tent has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent. Your stay at Camp Moremi is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities, park entrance fees and laundry service.

    Safari activities include tracking big game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird-watching, exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat.

    Days 3 - 5: Camp Okavango, Botswana

    After an early breakfast you will depart from Camp Moremi to Camp Okavango with a boat trip (3 hours) through the intricate channels of the remote wilderness of the Okavango Delta. You will enjoy this totally different game viewing experience and stop on one of the islands for coffee and biscuits along the way - you will see the change in the landscape and stop for game viewing when you find animals on the banks of the river, keeping an eye out for Hippos and Crocodiles in the channels...

    Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Camp Okavango's unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of old in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the open boma.

    Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, a delightful sun deck and plunge pool for relaxing during the hot midday hours.

    Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite facilities and private sun decks.

    Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs.

    For those who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the 'Okavango Suite' a thatched cottage offering complete privacy and the option of private game-viewing activities and dining options – ideal for Honeymooners.

    Your stay at Camp Okavango is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities, park entrance fees and laundry service.

    All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced professional guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe (mokoro) and motorboat.

    Guided nature walks on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for bream and Tiger fish is also offered as an activity at the lodge.

    Days 6 & 7: Chobe Game Lodge, Botswana

    After breakfast and your morning activity (if time allows) you will depart on a charter flight from Camp Okavango to Kasane Airport. Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, you will be met by a representative and be transferred via road to Chobe Game Lodge.

    The only permanent game lodge situated within the Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge is Botswana's premier venue for guests looking for a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park.

    The lodge can accommodate up to 100 people in total luxury, offering a choice of land or water activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe area.

    Game drives are conducted in open sided 4x4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility, while game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly maneuverable boats piloted by expert boatmen.

    The resident professional guides offer star gazing and guided walks within the game-fenced area. Other facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma area where traditional dancers perform, a business centre, a fully equipped conference room with seating for up to 90 people in cinema style, an internet office is available for those guests needing to keep in touch, a stylish bar with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River and a cigar bar with a champion sized billiard table.

    Chobe also has a reference library with lounge and terrace. Meals are catered for at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River. All the rooms at the lodge are river facing and are air-conditioned with overhead fans, complimentary mini bar and en-suite bathrooms, each with tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their very own private terrace.

    For those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Chobe Game Lodge has 4 river view suites, each with their own plunge pool and a separate lounge area. Your stay at Chobe Game Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, and local brand beverages during meal times, unlimited activities, park entrance fees and laundry service.

    Botswana activities include game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, game viewing by motorboat or sunset cruises on the river cruiser the Mosi-oa-Tunya on the Chobe River. Stargazing and guided walks within the game-fenced are also on offer.

    Day 8: The Kingdom Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

    After breakfast, you will be transferred via boat to the Kasane Jetty, where you will be met by a representative and transferred via road to The Kingdom Hotel, Zimbabwe, Vic Falls. You will be transferred via Kazangula border post. The journey is approximately 70km from the Botswana border where you will have to complete immigration and customs procedures on both sides.

    The Kingdom Hotel is situated within a short walk of the Victoria Falls. The complex comprises of a luxury hotel, and an adjacent Entertainment Wing with a Casino, restaurants, night club, tourist shops, pharmacy and bars.

    Rooms are modern and well equipped some having views over the ornamental lake and waterfall. Many rooms have additional bunk beds making The Kingdom Hotel ideal for families.

    Facilities include air-conditioning, satellite television, mini bar, direct dial telephone, hairdryers. The hotel section has its own restaurant serving buffet lunches and dinners, with such specialties as Mopani worms!

    Every evening there is a floorshow of African dancing. The swimming pool and sun deck is a welcome oasis in the middle of the bustling town of Victoria Falls, as is the pool bar.

    The entertainment complex is popular with both tourists and locals, and the casino is great fun! Playing with stacks of chips 'a la James Bond', but since they play in Zimbabwean Dollars you can't lose much money - however you can't win much either - even a 'jackpot of Zim$1.5 million is little over US$300! The Kingdom Hotel is perfect for those looking for the style and standards of an international hotel providing 'comforts from home'.

    Day 9: Depart

    After breakfast (depending on your departure details), you will depart The Kingdom Hotel on a scheduled road transfer to Vic Falls Airport, in time for your flight back to Johannesburg International Airport.

    All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

    If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
