The floodplains at the top end of Chief’s Island are the most nutrient rich in the Okavango Delta and because of this wildlife flocks to the area, which in turn attracts countless predators. Game drives and mokoro excursions (canoeing) will ensure that you experience the best of Botswana on this wildlife safari.
There is the option of a spa treatment between game activities, to enable you to further relieve any stresses or tension. You could also choose the opportunity for a scenic helicopter flip over this pristine wetland.
Day 1: Johannesburg – Maun – Moremi
A flight from Johannesburg will get you to Maun from where you fly into the Moremi Game Reserve by light aircraft to your bush camp – your home for the next 2 nights. You will be in time for lunch and a short rest before the afternoon activity.
Following afternoon tea you will head out to explore this incredible area. Moremi can truly be considered to be one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations and your safari guides will ensure that you experience the best of it.
Day 2: Moremi
An early morning wake-up call and a light breakfast will precede the morning game drive to try and catch the predator activity that has made this area famous. Besides the predators the area is also renowned for its variety and sheer quantity of game. There is literally something to see every moment and the eyes become lazy with the beauty of it all.
After the morning game drive and brunch there will be the opportunity for an optional wellness spa treatment where you can relax and enjoy the surrounds in a tranquil space. The afternoon activity, be it a game drive or a mokoro excursion, will afford you the chance to search for the animals that you have not already seen.
Day 3: Moremi - Maun - Johannesburg
Enjoy your final day in the magical Okavango! Your Delta Intrigue Moremi Retreat Package comes to an end. There will be time for a last activity and breakfast in this incredible ecosystem.
You will be transferred to the airstrip before catching your flight to Maun and the onward connection to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport.

This Botswana premier safari is based on a 3 day fly-in to a bush camp/lodge in Moremi for 2 guests sharing in en-suite accommodation, all inclusive with scheduled flights ex/to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport.
The Rates are based on the high season and may vary depending on the season and daily currency exchange rate. This retreat package can also be combined with overnights at Chobe and Livingstone (Zambia-side Victoria Falls).
